The Community Outreach Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance to eligible individuals with disabilities in Greater Waterbury and surrounding Connecticut communities who are pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university leading to employment in their chosen field.

Community Outreach Scholarship Fund

The Community Outreach Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance to individuals pursuing post-secondary education at an accredited college or university. Scholarships support students enrolled in a specific field of study (major) that leads to employment within that profession.

Eligible applicants include individuals with disabilities who reside in the Greater Waterbury, Central, and Northwest Connecticut communities, including:

Bantam, Beacon Falls, Bethlehem, Brookfield, Canaan, Cheshire, Colebrook, Cornwall, Danbury, Goshen, Harwinton, Kent, Lakeville, Litchfield, Meriden, Middlebury, Morris, Naugatuck, New Hartford, New Milford, Oakville, Prospect, Roxbury, Salisbury, Sharon, Southbury, Terryville, Thomaston, Torrington, Warren, Waterbury, Watertown, Winsted, Wolcott, and Woodbury.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for assistance, applicants must:

Be attending an accredited college or university
Be enrolled in a degree program within their chosen field of study
